Beginners' Guide | How to Choose Right Class to Play Lineage W on Redfinger

As per the latest announcement, 3rd Episode: Giran of Lineage W - NCsoft's cross-platform MMORPG - is ready to be provided for players to preregister following the sequels to the 2nd Episode: Dark Elf along with 1st Episode: Aden. In addition, the character in Lineage W will be altered, including Calvary.

In this way, the article is dedicated to providing insights about the way how to choose the proper character to enjoy the game. It can be founded that the class is divided into four classes, covering Elf, Knight, Monarch and Magician.

Lineage W, Elf class

As the archer class, Elf is a powerful long-ranged attacker that has weak defense and health to a fault. As such, the class is so vulnerable in the battlefield when fighting against the enemies in close range. It’s ideal for players who want to get more tasks done when playing Lineage W to choose to provide shield for allies.

Lineage W, Knight class

Knight – the tank class in Lineage W – boasts powerful defenses along with rarely dies in battle. As such, even if players adopt the auto-combat features in the game, it is prone to be defeated by mobs in an easier way. Sword and Shield can be used to increase the ability to defense. In battlefield, the class can be an extraordinary helper to soak the damage without a high threat of dying.

Lineage W, Support and DPS class Monarch

As a combination of support and DPS class, Monarch has fairly average along with balanced stats as to offense and defense. Monarch can use a sword and buff allies, delivering benefits in group content. STR stat should be upgraded to enhance damage output if players want to level up in the short run. It should be noted that the class in Lineage W is the only one that can command the battlefield and offer allies powerful buffs.

Lineage W, Healer class Magician

The Healer class Magician gains great offensive spells and is a leading player in keeping the allies alive. The class can defeat a variety of enemies at once with the means of AoE combat abilities while the class in Lineage W has weak defenses. It is not recommended that the novice play the game with the class at the initial stage.
