Industry News | Gravity Is to Launch Ragnarok Series in Korea for Commemoration

According to the recent announcement, three games will be rolled out in Korea, covering Ragnaork: The Lost Memories, Ragnarok Arena, Ragnarok X: Next Generation, against the backdrop of commemorating the 20th anniversary of the release of the Ragnarok Online series

As a fantasy RPG that put emphasis on the Ragnarok world and its stories, Ragnaork: The Lost Memories inherits the original philosophy and graphics. Players are able to employ more than 20 characters and cards to compete. The PC (Steam) version has now been released and is scheduled to launch in South Korea in August.

Ragnarok Arena – a simulation strategy RPG – combines the basic elements of characters and job transfers and adopts the card system of a collectible RPG. In addition to the growth of the characters, many elements such as the level, phase, and configuration of monster cards need to be taken into consideration. The game is expected to launch in South Korea in the second half of 2022.

Ragnarok X: Next Generation is an MMORPG based on the original content of Ragnarok and strengthening its casual elements. Ragnarok X: Next Generation is expected to launch in South Korea in the second half of 2022 as well. 

What's more, GRAVITY is also expected to hold an event in South Korea on July 31 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the "Ragnarok Online" series.
