• Leave through the elevator on time; one greedy floor can end the whole run.

Main systems

Start here

• Choose a Toon whose job is easy to understand.
• Stay near the team until you know how Twisteds patrol.
• Work on machines, but stop if a Twisted is approaching.
• Do not steal all tapes from teammates who need shop items.
• Enter the elevator early if the floor is becoming dangerous.

Progression priority

• Survival first: a living beginner helps more than a downed greedy player.
• Machine completion second: floors only advance when objectives are done.
• Role clarity third: know whether you are extracting, distracting, or supporting.
• Research and unlocks fourth: collect them when safe, not during a chase.

How to play better

• If you are an extractor, avoid starting unnecessary chases.
• If you are a distractor, lead Twisteds away from machines and teammates.
• Do not stand on top of other players during skill checks.
• Listen for danger cues and watch hallways before committing to a machine.
• Shop items are strongest when bought for a specific problem, such as healing or armor.

First-hour route

1. Play your first run as a simple Toon.
2. Focus on completing machines on early floors.
3. Practice escaping one chase without dragging it into teammates.
4. Collect Ichor and research capsules only when safe.
5. Buy one useful shop item if you have enough tapes.
6. Leave through the elevator instead of exploring after objectives are done.
7. Use earned Ichor toward a Toon or trinket that fits your preferred role.

Common beginner mistakes

• Trying to do every job at once.
• Continuing a machine while a Twisted is already close.
• Leading enemies directly into extractors.
